Simco Audio presents Simco ONE – a horn loaded, 2-way speaker uncompromising in both quality and aesthetics.
After 2 years in the making, we have arrived at a product which combines the pinnacle of acoustical horn development with top of the range modern drivers, assembling a speaker capable of effortless music reproduction with deep and natural sound.
The compression driver and horn combination leads to an incredibly life like sound stage, and the 12” woofer cabinet has been carefully tuned to give a weighted and well defined bass. Both drivers are highly sensitive, enabling pairing with low power tube amplification.
The majority of time was spent on crossover development which has cycled through many iterations and rigorous testing. The final design leads to a finely balanced frequency response and uses high grade Solen polypropylene capacitors which brings out the full potential of each driver.
Hardware includes speaker baffle covers and horn stands which are constructed using powder coated aluminium to give a premium finish.
The speakers sit on top of hand made, European oak blocks which effectively isolate the units.

The Designers
Sam Plant and Silas Plant are currently based in Manchester, United Kingdom. The brother's both graduated in Engineering from the University of Manchester and for the last two years, have been combining their love for audio engineering and music, to create speakers which add new layers and dimensions to the experience of sound.
Their goal is to facilitate profound experiences for the listener by capturing the essence of recorded music, allowing artists to speak freely through the medium. Sam and Silas focus on the listener's perceived experience as the primary reference for sound quality. They recognise that relying solely on test instruments and mathematical models can overlook the emotional content that is vital to the meaning of music.
